The biblical tale of Joseph is told from an Egyptian perspective in this interesting character study. In this film, Joseph is called Ram. Ram, tired of his family's backward superstitious life, and tired of being picked on by his brothers, wants to go to Egypt to study agriculture. His brothers travel with him across Sinai, but then suddenly sell him to Ozir, an Egyptian who works for a Theban military leader, Amihar. Amihar is impressed by Ram's drive and personal charm and so grants Ram some desolate land outside the capital. Ram soon finds himself a pawn in the political and sexual games between Amihar and his wife Simihit, a high priestess of the Cult of Amun.

Two university students fall in love on campus and inform their parents that they want to get married. This decision makes the parents immediately very happy but when they find out who the parents of their future son- or daughter-in-law are, they get horrified. It turns out that these young lovers are much more connected than they had realized, and the question arises whether they might even be related.

(Alnamar) a former intelligence man, who is expelled from the service, decides to blackmail senior officials for money. He convinces photographer (Antar) that he is still in service and asks him to video tape a senior official and then tries to get rid of (Antar) by various ways after taking the video.

Based on Victor Hugo's novel, a poor man is sent to prison after stealing a loaf of bread. He escapes and becomes rich, but this does not protect him from people's disdain as they know where he came from.
