Cantinflas, who owns a cleaning business, cleans the windows of the house of a famous French actress. While carrying out his work he observes how a man steals one of the famous actress necklaces, but he can only see his back.

To save their relationship, Marisa dives into an odyssey through the vibrant NYC nightlife, dead set on tracking down an ‘I Love New York’ shirt for Rafael at any cost. She soon discovers that in the metropolis of capitalism, even on Christmas, nothing comes for free—except, perhaps, from those who have nothing.

The film is based on real events, from a case investigated by Detective Valente Quintana.
