When the Chef, Noam Amir, a meteor in the sky of the culinary scene, gets caught in debt right before opening his new Bistro in Paris, the spirit of his deceased father, Moshiko – The owner of the legendary "The Big Moshiko's Hummus Place", appears before him and offers him an offer he can't decline. With that Noam finds himself returning to his childhood home, to the family he left behind and to the Hummus place he hates so much.

What had initially started out as a Jewish revolt against the Roman occupation, quickly turned into a fierce civil war. The combination of religious messianic zeal and the friction between social classes proved disastrous and resulted in the destruction of Jerusalem and the Holy Temple.

Meir (Sasson Gabay of The Band’s Visit and Shtisel) and Tova (Rita Shukrun) are a long-married couple living in an upscale high-rise in Tel Aviv. Itzik (Lior Ashkenazi) is their new neighbor, a worldly modeling agent and bachelor. The couple attend Itzik’s karaoke parties and soon become obsessed with him, competing with each other, and other residents of the building, for his attention.

This is a period family drama that takes place in Jerusalem right before the political uprising of 1977

A man enters the car and drives it to a local car dealer where he hopes to sell it. It seems that he has moved back from Canada and cannot afford the tax on the car. The dealership is manned by two. One appears to be the worker of the pair - keeping the cars clean and running. The other is a cookie cutter version of many auto salesmen to be found everywhere in the world. He is Shmuel, the apparent owner of the lot and has seen the same car in a German dealer's catalog priced at €50,000. He conferences with Siso, the worker of the pair, whose financial support he needs and convinces him to invest in the purchase of the car. In the typical car dealer fashion, Shmuel makes a deal to buy the car from the "ignorant Arab" for €5,000.

When Michal finds out her husband Meir is having an affair with a man, her world collapses. Not only is she is forced to deal with sexual rejection from Meir, she also has to endure social rejection.
