Rıfkı, who lives in Germany, returns to his village, which he left years ago, to sell the properties inherited from his late father. A few coincidences that occur upon his arrival in the village lead to his name being associated with the 'Saint' title.

Another story of Gırgıriye Neighbourhood. Güllü, her mother Sabahat, her uncle Bekir, Bayram, her father Emin, her sister Sevim, and her aunt Rabiş. Sabahat has completely lost her mind over money. They pool their earnings in a shared purse, and if anyone takes even three cents from it, she will gouge out their eyes. However, once the drums and flutes start playing, they stop fighting and start dancing... The Gypsy women are very troubled by their husbands... Bayram, Güllü's husband, is useless except for chasing after women, Sabahat's husband Münir is useless except for drinking himself into a stupor in taverns, and Bekir is useless except for gambling away their money. Güllü also has her share of admirers. Especially the boss, Deli Ömer, is deeply infatuated with her. One day, Sabahat loses her temper and kicks Münir, Bayram, Sevim, and Rabiş out of the house.

Ali Silvan,violence prone person from shantytown of Istanbul,after committing homicide he rises rapidly within underworld owing to his gameness and intrepidness personality and became one of the most powerful underworld leaders of Istanbul. Due to being unlawful, He must trust his old friend Bülent who studied counting from same neighborhood to incorporate legitimized companies; however carrying all the authority and withholding all the wealth Bulent sets out to provoke Ali and other leaders of the underworld. Hereby, Bulent is forced to find a way out to procure the balance of power back.

With hopes to become a successful mason, he suddenly finds himself the star of a TV commercial. Drawing attention to the rising consumerism culture and its effects on individuals in Turkey, the film was allowed to be shown with a State Council verdict.

This is one of the tragicomic films of Kemal Sunal who is most "serious-comic" artist of the Turkish cinema. This film also reflects socio-economic and cultural life of the 70's-80's Turkiye. The film obviously talk to Turkish audience but who wonder that era of Turkiye can taste of it. The film underlines of love, friendship and -richness in the poorness- and also is a story about the people who prefers love, instead of money and fortune. The theme and narration may include some populist elements -like most Kemal Sunal films- but generally tells its story as well. The story is familiar to Turkish audience: A young man loves young girl. In most Turkish love films one of the partners is rich or poor according to the other but in this movie both sides are poor and they have many difficulties to reach happy end. In my opinion, these kind of movies always gives hope to people to get over it.

The life story of a family who migrated from a small town in Anatolia to Istanbul. Ömer from the family runs a gas cylinder dealership in the big city. Meanwhile, he gets involved in dirty business with a friend. Having severed ties with his family, Ömer cannot extricate himself from these shady dealings, even if he wanted to. He continues to live his life amidst Istanbul's vibrant and shadowy nightlife.

When a naive gatekeeper at a factory starts a love affair with a secretary, at first fortune seems to be favoring him. But then factory workers put an end to his relationship with her due to an inheritance lawsuit of hers.

Meral is a show girl and drug addict and Yilmaz is a handsome police chief who fights against drug dealers. The tragic reality of the glamorous show world is revealed in the film's story. Meral's boss Haci wants her to spy on Yilmaz. However Meral and Yilmaz fall in love with each other. They work cooperatively and in a police operation headed by Yilmaz Haci and his men are caught wounded, but Meral gets shot.

The film tells the story of what a woman does to marry the man she loves. Ali and Leyla love each other. Ali proposes to Leyla. They must get married that day because he is leaving for Germany the next day. They decide to get married in secret, without Leyla's family knowing. However, Leyla's mother and father interrupt the wedding and take Leyla away. Because Leyla is not yet of legal age. The wedding is left unfinished, and Ali goes to Germany. Leyla's neighbor, Mülayim, is also in love with Leyla. However, Leyla's mother demands that a house be purchased as a dowry. While Mülayim tries to marry Leyla, Leyla will seek ways to run away with Ali.

The story of a guard who revolts because of exploiting reeve and tradespeople. People start to think he has an uncle working in the ministry of the interior.

Murat is a successful journalist. One day a girl named Aysel is kidnapped and raped by three men. Murat is misinformed about the case, so he distorts the whole story which deeply saddens Aysel's family. Murat decides to look into this case again and finds out that the three men are sons of well-off families and writes about them in his articles. Murat's bosses ask him to resign, but Murat doesn't give up. In the end, the culprits are delivered to the justice. However, one day Murat is found dead.

Zuhtu, a nosy hawker who sells meatballs, one night finds a young girl escaping from her cruel relatives. He intends to help the girl but this costs him too much.
