That Woman

Scheherazade, unfortunately on the ‘lost movies list’, is one of the most interesting examples of the ero-detective genre. The film tells the story of a woman with two personalities, works as a dancer with the stage name Female Spider in a strip club.

The film tells the story of a woman who struggles to keep her family together after being cheated on. Emine lives with her family in her father-in-law's house. When she catches her husband Reşit with their neighbor Şükran, the young woman takes her baby and leaves home. Her daughter Nermin chooses to stay with her grandfather. While her relatives try to convince Emine to return home, Reşit brings his lover into the house. However, Şükran treats Nermin and her grandfather poorly. Additionally, she begins to cheat on Reşit with her boss. Upon learning of the situation, Emine must make a choice to save her family.

Sıtkı Bey asks Rauf Bey, a member of the bank's board, for help in obtaining a loan from the bank. Rauf Bey hopes to marry Sıtkı Bey's daughter in return for his help. Sıtkı Bey, who wants to make a big investment, tries to force Handan to marry Rauf. On the night of their engagement, Handan refuses to marry Rauf, revealing that she has been in a relationship with Nazmi for a long time. However, she eventually has no choice but to marry Rauf. Meanwhile, Nazmi, who has been falsely accused, is sent to prison for a murder he did not commit. Years later, their paths will cross again.

Turkish adaptation of Graham Greene's "A Gun For Sale" (This Gun for Hire).

Sevistigimiz Gunler is a typical socio-economic story of three roommate girls in their early 20s' who are hoping to find their Prince Charmings. With a lot of references to Billy Wilder romance flicks, Things go crazy and wild when they both fall in love with three men. So their lives change dramatically as they forget about the bet, and come on the edge of marriage and pregnancy. But are the men whom they fell in love with, really worth considering as Prince Charmings, or are they just cheaters slickers?

Based on THE DEEP by Mickey Spillane, the film tells the story of a tough guy, who returns to his old neighborhood to avenge the murder of his childhood partner in crime.

Hasan returns to his village from Germany with his wife Lena, hoping to start a new life, but tragedy strikes when a gang brutally murders his mother and assaults his wife, who dies from the trauma.

Burhan works as a driver at the factory where his father works. He is also preparing to marry Zehra, one of the factory workers. Zehra's brother Hüsnü and the factory accountant Namık hatch a plan to rob the factory. They decide to rob the factory's treasurer. They agree with two more workers from the factory to help them. During the robbery, something goes wrong. Hüsnü kills the treasurer and one of the workers and escapes. Nazif Usta, who was at the factory at the time, is arrested at the scene and sentenced to death in court. However, Burhan will try to find the culprits to save his father.

Two young members of the Ottoman army officers who showed heroism in the Yemen desert, fall in love with the same woman, the daughter of their commanding officer, she only loves one and when they both go to Yemen again, Murat one of the officers is lost and thought to be dead. Leyla after hearing this agrees to marry the other officer whom is Murat best friend without knowing that Murat is still alive.

The film tells the love story between an escaped convict and the daughter of a famous businessman. Zeynep is the daughter of a well-known businessman. She is returning from vacation with her fiancé Tarık. A prison transport vehicle carrying prisoners is involved in an accident on the road. A group of prisoners who survive the accident escape. They stop the car of the young couple they encounter on the road. They kill Tarık and kidnap Zeynep. One of the prisoners, Mehmet, takes the young woman under his protection from his friends. Thus begins their relationship, which eventually turns into love.

Unlike all other films of Cuneyt Arkin, this film picture is taken by a highly skilled team with quite a lot of preparations. The scenario is a fairy tale which is pleasantly supported by some high quality visual effects (prepared in a visual lab in England). The scenes are all supported with high quality decorations of the old times of the tale. Cuneyt Arkin with his athletic capabilities enables the hero of this tale to be brought to life in his act. It is really unlucky for the film team to prepare such a good film after a series of junk films which directly reduced the interest to this high quality film.
