Alice has deeply buried feelings and memories for her sister Manon who is about to be married. During their childhood the two sisters were extremely close not only emotionally, but also sexually. With news of the wedding the pain of the past resurfaces and Alice's relationship with her girlfriend Elsa start to fall apart. As the wedding approaches Alice reminisces about her childhood, and has trouble letting go of her incestuous relationship with her sister Manon.

In a remote, isolated Yazidi Kurdish village in post-Soviet Armenia, Hamo, a widower with a pitiful pension and three worthless sons, travels daily to his wife's grave. There he meets the lovely Nina, who is communing with her late husband. The two are penniless--she works in a local bar that is about to close down, while he has been forced to start selling his meager possessions. All seems hopelessly bleak, yet when Hamo begins to court Nina, their unexpected love revitalizes them.

Léa and Luc were living together. During the day, Léa would take photos. At night, she could not sleep and oftentimes looked out the window. One day, Léa told Luc that a man was watching her from the opposite building. But Luc did not believe Léa's stories.
