Sassnitz is a small coastal town at the Baltic Sea on the Island of Rügen. In its vicinity are the world-famous chalk cliffs, a tourist magnet. The Mukran Port is also part of the municipality. The overseas port is the starting point for the construction of Nord Stream 2, a natural gas pipeline that connects Germany directly with Russia. In 2020, the port town hit the international headlines. Even the New York Times reported and cited Mayor Frank Kracht as a staunch opponent from the northeast German province against the rumbling America of Donald Trump. The reason is the undisguised threat from Washington to ruin the international port economically if the natural gas pipeline continues to be built from there. Many jobs and the region's economic stability are at risk. Reporter Klaus Scherer documents the case, questions experts as well as those affected and looks at the behavior of national politicians towards the USA and how they react to the interference in internal affairs.

Are the '68ers still alive? Yes - by and large. Many people think of Rudi, Daniel, Uschi & Co. when they hear "68" - of the student revolt against rigid structures, against the Vietnam War and emergency laws and for democratic socialism, peace and free love. But 1968 was much more than that. This one year changed the world. Great personalities are shot, but 1968 also stands for beauty and progress: kenhaus - alive. Twiggy,The show takes a look back at 1968. With exciting, tragic and often bizarre original material, it wanders through this very special year, supported by celebrities who lived through 1968 as young adults, teenagers or children, including Hannes Jaenicke, Christine Westermann, Achim Reichel, Uschi Nerke, Katja Ebstein, Claudia Roth, Jürgen Trittin and Wilfried Schmickler.

MovieDocumentary
On July 24, 1978, a bomb blasted a hole in the outer wall of a prison in Celle, Germany. The attack was blamed on the Red Army Faction. Years later, in April 1986, the true background was revealed. The attack had been staged with the complicity of Lower Saxony's domestic intelligence service, the GSG 9 and high-ranking government officials. The result was the expansion of anti-terror measures to protect citizens. The documentary tries to get to the bottom of the affair, and at the same time asks whether this action is not just the tip of an iceberg, whether much more was not initiated to stir up public sentiment.
