Aka Morchiladze

A group of teenage boys from Tbilisi take a trip to Azerbaijan to buy drugs, and end up fighting in the Nagorno-Karabakh War, when they are captured by Azerbaijani militants, with one subsequently being captured by the Armenians. During the course of events, the main character has flashbacks to his relationship with his father, as well as a depressive prostitute.

A clash of cultures unfolds when a young British photographer and her boyfriend make an expedition to the mountains of Georgia, uncovering ancient myths, questionable customs, and the struggles of her own relationship, finding that some boundaries are uncrossable.

In spite of it all, their paths cross and their lives are changed forever.

A film with parallel editing tells a story about two young people from Tbilisi. The action takes place on one frosty day in winter. Zaza is a writer, Mamuka is a criminal. They do not know each other. One is driven by a wish to take revenge; the other is driven by love and chivalry. Both are mistaken, as their ambitious decisions resemble a game with fate... Will their roads cross?...

Many years after the war, two childhood friends with different political views, Aka and Mojito, meet in Europe. Their only reason for enmity was not politics, but that they both loved the same woman, Natia. Instead of reconciliation, events develop in such a way that the gap between them deepens even more.

The House of Joy is a documentary about the creation of the film musical Keto and Kote, which was called the Georgian movie of the twentieth century. It reveals how the film was made, despite the strict censorship of the Stalin's regime.
