In one of the poorest areas of Paris, a school counselor devotes herself to working with disadvantaged students, while facing challenges of her own.

The obstacle-strewn journey of Romain and Antoine, a homosexual couple, involved in a long and difficult adoption process. After five years of waiting, they see their adoption application stalled for largely societal reasons: the system's reluctance to place children with a male couple, particularly in so-called “late” adoptions. Despite their sincere love and deep desire to become parents, they encounter prejudice, such as being required to prove the presence of female role models in their social circle.

Pio and Anaïs, a couple about to get married, announce to their friends that their wedding will be child-free. However, their friends, who are now parents, decide to bring their children along, thinking they can hide them from the bride and groom.

After failing the medical entrance exam, Léopold enters midwifery school by default, hiding the truth from those around him. While he is unconvinced of his commitment to this exclusively female environment, his meeting with Nathalie, an experienced midwife with a passionate character, will change his view of this fascinating world and upset his certainties.

Realizing that he will never be able to have children, Maxime tries to get his gift back, only to learn that it has already been used for Lisa Barrot, a famous and seductive sports journalist. Aware that she will be the mother of his only child, he decides to do everything possible to meet her and get to know her.

Abu, 14, is his father's pride. Unlike his three brothers, he is the "top of his class". Well, that's what he would have you believe. In truth, Abu is, above all, the king of lies and fake school grades. When the first meeting of parents and teachers arrives, he is going to stage the biggest lie of his life: he is looking for false teachers among his acquaintances in the neighborhood to meet his real father, while his real teachers will meet a false father.
