The Man With No Name enters the Mexican village of San Miguel in the midst of a power struggle among the three Rojo brothers and sheriff John Baxter. When a regiment of Mexican soldiers bearing gold intended to pay for new weapons is waylaid by the Rojo brothers, the stranger inserts himself into the middle of the long-simmering battle, selling false information to both sides for his own benefit.

The single farmer Christian is highly sought after by the young, marriage-minded women of the area, but so far he has successfully evaded all matchmaking attempts. Im weißen Rößl (English title: White Horse Inn or The White Horse Inn) is an operetta or musical comedy by Ralph Benatzky and Robert Stolz in collaboration with a number of other composers and writers, set in the picturesque Salzkammergut region of Upper Austria. It is about the head waiter of the White Horse Inn in St. Wolfgang who is desperately in love with the owner of the inn, a resolute young woman who at first only has eyes for one of her regular guests.

Princess Dagmar's life is boring, so depressed - so depressed that the doctor has to come. And the doctor advises: The girl must get out of the regulated aristocratic everyday life. Princess Dagmar is sent to a girls' boarding school, located on a farm, where everyone studies hard and gets stuck in and eats simple, healthy food. In Alt-Köstendorf in the Salzburg region, the dean, known as Seelenbräu, and the brewer Hochleithner, known in the village as Leibesbräu, are fighting for supremacy. As their nicknames suggest, Leibesbräu is primarily concerned with the physical well-being of the villagers, while Seelenbräu cares deeply about the faith of his congregation. This leads to repeated clashes between the two men, who could perhaps be described as stubborn. When Hochleitner's niece Clementine leaves the convent and wants to stay at home, a new dispute flares up between Seelenbräu and Leibesbräu.

Leopold Bachmayer, a court judge in Vienna, is a grumpy bachelor. Doing foolish things for the sake of a woman could never happen to him. He is firmly convinced of this. This changes abruptly when, shortly before his vacation, he has to interrogate the seductive Frau von Seewald about a brooch allegedly stolen by a maid.

Based on the novel by Friedrich Gerstäcker, the film, set entirely in the state of Arkansas, tells of the conflict of interests between the local townspeople and homesteaders on the surrounding land, miners arriving during the gold rush, cowboys and cattle thieves who cause problems in the area, and the native tribes of the region. Two adventurers arrive in town and try to restore peace to it and its inhabitants.

When Comanches go on the warpath, settlers take refuge in Ft. Eagle Rock commanded by Capt. Jackson. Undercover agent Cliff McPherson arrives at the undermanned fort to lend advice and support. He learns that the Comanches have been stirred up by local rancher Morton who wants to take control of the oil under the Indians' reservation.

A group of talented young people are dismissed from an ice dancing troupe as a result of the intrigues of Alida, the wife of impresario Gordon. Outraged, the young people leave Gordon's troupe and, having organized their own group, soon achieve success with audiences. Gordon, deprived of his talented performers, suffers a collapse and goes bankrupt.

Instead of attending seminars and lectures at the University of World Trade, Peter Baumann prefers to work exclusively in the student orchestra. With his friends Hans, Tommy, Udo, Gus and Max, he tries so far in vain to get a recording contract or at least an audition in the Wiener Stadthalle.

Since Benno Geyer fails to pass his Abitur due to his panicky exam anxiety, Dr. Fritz Geyer enrolls in high school under his brother's name. As a model student, he has no trouble getting good grades, but he quickly becomes unpopular among the students. From then on, he tries to impress with the craziest pranks.

The renowned Viennese artist Stefan Helmers spends the summer in a mountain village where he has been commissioned to paint a church window. There, he falls in love with a peasant girl who accompanies him to Vienna after completing his work. But in the metropolis, both realize they have made a mistake. The girl returns to her village, and Helmers marries his longtime friend Anita.
