A shoemaker, a reporter, a pavement hooker-in, a psychiatric patient and a young man released from prison are the main characters of the film, heroes in a time of no heroes. All of them have the important qualities of being openhearted and not afraid of loving.

Vadik Volnov (Garik Kharlamov) dies on his own wedding of cannabis overdose and has to prove to God that he is worthy to enter Heaven. During his conversation with God's secretary, Vadik recalls numerous memorable moments of his earthly existence, such as getting drunk on cognac on his 8th birthday, service in the Soviet Army in Afghanistan, bandit showdowns in crime-ridden 1990s Russia, and, finally, meeting the love of his life.

Voldya Sidorov, a high school student, is visited by his beloved grandfather, Yegor Kuzmich, who arrives from Nadym and brings a crystal the size of a baby’s head as a gift. The grandson and grandfather take the crystal to a pawn shop and ask for three hundred. And they’re offered three hundred... thousand dollars. The crystal turned out to be an uncut diamond...

The Russian president decides to go on vacation. To do this, he changes his appearance with the help of prosthetics and make-up, but the hapless artist takes the cover image of the first magazine he sees laying around, and now the President looks exactly like the narcissistic marginal Valera who's hiding from the collectors. Ironically, the FSO's vigilant employees put surveillance on the wrong subject and while the real head of state plunges into commonness, goes on a road trip with fellow traveler Zina, Valera gladly enjoys the presidential service, simultaneously voicing opinions on foreign and domestic policy issues ...

Russia, early 90s. A fictional story inspired by financier Sergey Mavrodi, his securities company "MMM", and the pyramid scheme he ran that left upwards of fifteen million investors with nothing when it crashed.

A certain Kostyleva, who was fired (cut) from her job, threatens to commit suicide. Her colleague suggests cutting him. The self-sacrifice was misunderstood by the wife of this employee. Out of jealousy, she decides to leave her husband and leave home. And he suddenly finds out that a grandfather is coming from America to visit, whom (what if he is a millionaire!) must be greeted properly - it is not every day that relatives come from the USA. The grandfather arrives in an antediluvian car to "die cheerfully" in his homeland, in Russia. They bought a coffin and a plot in the cemetery, but problems arose with death. It turned out that life is just beginning. It was in vain that the grandfather gave all the money to a sanatorium for homeless dogs.

Roman Shilo, a known criminal, suddenly must deal with his fourteen years old daughter and not only with her but with her little stepbrother and stepsister as well.

There will be an explosion exactly in 48 hours in Moscow. The information was provided by an agent who was killed this very second. All departments of special ops work on it, but the only hope is for recently organized independent team. They are a hacker girl who once broke thru Pentagon servers, a former special ops officer who enjoys speed and adrenalin, psychologist, a lady whose beauty outshines her intelligence and her rank of major, and a blind field engineer whose sense of smell and intuition substitute for his eye sight... And the Chief who got them all together and learned how to control them. Only this team is able to figure it out WHO, and most importantly WHERE, by knowing just WHEN...

The ordinary life of an ordinary family from the province: a couple, 2 children, a dog and neighbors. Dasha is a housewife who loves to watch TV shows and go shopping. Her husband, Gena, is a shoe store manager, likes to hang around in the garage and watch football with friends. Their daughter Sveta is a student of high school, changes the guys every week. And their son Roma is playing computer thew whole day and intrigues sister. Bukins quarrel at least once a day - so they have fun. They have been together for 16 years and still love each other. This is the happiest family in the world.

Policeman Pavel Kravtsov is a rather strange man. If he has to handcuff someone, he apologizes and asks if he is pressing. He is ambitious but honest; he is young but thoughtful. With such inclinations, you can't really make a career in the city police. So a city man, senior Lieutenant Kravtsov, gets through to the remote village of Anisovka by an ordinary district police officer.

Major Stepan Krucha heads the criminal investigation department of the Bitovsky Department of Internal Affairs. He is the master of his "land". The bandits call him Wolfman, fearing for good reason: you can "get away" from justice, but not from an ardent defender of the law. Shoulder to shoulder with Krucha, his "cubs" - Fedot Komov and Roma Lozovoy - are standing guard over law and order. And let the bandits think that they are cooler than Cool, our heroes are not the ones who can be kept on a leash. They will take any enemy by the throat themselves...

The plot centers on a large-scale conspiracy by a group of US military personnel, led by General James Scott, against the current President Jordan Lyman. Further events show that the President, who sent his closest aides and friends to investigate, easily and almost indifferently accepts the news of their deaths, because he is only interested in his own person.
