A young woman comes up to a womanizing man with a newborn baby he might be the father of. The background of the story is the 6-day bicycle indoor racing contest that used to take place in the Milano Palasport in the 1960s, '70s, and early '80s.

Gigi Garulli is a veterinarian who lives with his wife and two children in a beautiful villa. In addition to being a veterinarian, Gigi is also the quality manager at Sgnak, a pet food factory owned by his father-in-law. But when the factory, and in particular Gigi, are accused by consumers for a batch of spoiled morsels, trouble begins.

A feisty 18-year-old Italian-American New Yorker named Cindy is sent off to Rome with her irascible stepmother and vain stepsisters. On the way, she meets and falls in love with, globetrotting bagpacker Mizio, who eventually turns out to be of Italian nobility. Managing his own destiny, however, isn't easy, and Alex makes many mistakes, leaving him alone, without a point of reference, and with fleeting success. He must then confront his demons, the harshness of the world, and his own confusion, to learn to love his anger and understand what he truly desires.

Each of them lives his life in a different way respect the other: Armando is an old play-boy and often he "buys" his women with his money; Cristiano is a shy guy who lives in a community with other guys like him. The movie proceeds showing us, ironically, the differences, the different ways to think, to act, to treat the women between father and son.

Misadventures of Colombo, an engineer in Milano. He is the only winner of an admission test for a job, and just for this reason he isn't hired. So he becomes a barman, and he discovers a special formula that turns simple water into the "Immortality drink". He is robbed of the magic water copyright. So he tries to set up a theatrical company, but the first show is a fiasco. Since finding a normal job seems a mission impossible, he tries to set the sentimental side of his life. He targets the most beautiful girl of his building, and for her he builds a robot able to dance like Tony Manero (John Travolta's character in Saturday Night Fever (1977)). The robot gets drunk (!). It is another fiasco. So he targets an ugly girl and finally with her succeeds to live his surreal world for ever.
