This simple premise becomes a web of drama, deceit, suspicion, love and tragedy all rolled into one. Add the fact that Remy will eventually find out that KC is actually a girl early on in the series and eventually fall in love with her, it's a dramatic comedy of love, tragedy and despair - albeit with a modern twist.
