Seven friends promise to meet each other in the future. On the promised day all come except Ramin who is now a lawyer working for a company. He is in danger so sends his wife instead and has hides himself in some unknown place. One of his friends Ali who is now a police decides to help him.

Reza, the veteran worker of a print house whose sight is adversely affected because of his job, loses his mother. Finding the gloom reigning over the home beyond bearing, he departs to overcome his sorrows. He ends up at a hostel where he shares his room with a southern guy called Ahmad who has a group of orphan war-stricken children under his wing. After the initial inkling gives way to the friendship, Reza discovers that Ahmad's patron plies his trade in black-market. At the same time, Reza's sister is constantly beaten and humiliated by her husband for being infertile.

A young guy Siamak has a list of 25 youngsters in his pocket. He has to deliver drugs to them but his father Reza is coming from abroad after many years. He was a runaway but now wants to be a good father for his son.

During the Islamic revolution a SAVAK member Amani marries a woman her name Laleh. Laleh is a doctor and helps the injures of the revolution. Her brother is too involved in the revolution.

Set against the stunning landscape of rural Iran, Shirak is a symbolic rural drama centered on a young boy who lives in a small agricultural village that is being terrorized by wild boars. When his father is mauled to death by the boars during an attack on one of the village fields, Shirak suddenly finds himself the head of the household. A Turkmen boy is very fond of his horse which he himself has raised. A merchant wants to buy the horse. The boy accepts on condition that he remains with the horse himself. They come to Tehran and win a race but the boy feels lonely and decides that he wants to return back to his home. He returns back while his horse is accompanying him.
