Has the time of women finally come? Have their everyday lives truly changed over the past sixty years? Guided by Agnès Jaoui, women—famous and unknown—share their stories across generations. From childhood to retirement, the documentary traces shared experiences shaped by prejudice, but also by hope, strength, and humor. Blending personal archives, historic moments, and social media footage, the film places women at the center of their own story. Welcome to the Time of Women.

This documentary offers a rare look at domestic abuse through the concept of coercive control. With exceptional access to hearings in Poitiers, Colmar, and Paris, Karine Dusfour captures the first French trials to address this form of psychological violence. The film shows how coercive control traps partners through constant monitoring, a hidden terror affecting hundreds of thousands of women and children in France.

Days after his wife was murdered during the Bataclan attacks, Antoine Leiris wrote an open letter on Facebook to his wife’s killer. It was a letter of exceptional grace and defiance, stating simply that the terrorists had failed because they would never have his hate. That message was shared hundreds of thousands of times worldwide and inspired a best selling book. Leiris sets out to meet people like him. People who are trying to rebuild their lives after terrorist attacks.

When it comes to sectarian aberrations, how do you break free from their grip? Between dizzying loneliness and rebirth, these moving accounts from victims recount their descent into hell and their struggle to break free from subjugation.
