The Bârzoi manor comes back to life when the lady of the house, Chirița, sends news that she will be soon coming back from Paris. As the City of Light has changed her views on the world, the family and the help must follow.

A few unrelated groups of people leave for vacation from Bucharest for the mountains. They meet by chance in Poiana Brașov.

In the Free Theater (Teatrul Liber) of Bucharest, the actors and crew prepare a new show, with the play "Disguise" ("Travesti"). After the opening night, which is only partly successful, they reach the conclusion that, along the years, they came to the mistake of also disguising this true feelings, becoming hypocrites, and this has a negative effect to their stage performances too.

Lizuca is only six years old, not much older than her pet dachshund Patrocle, when her mother dies and she is left to live with her grandparents on their farm. Before long, Lizuca's father comes to take her away to live with him and his new bride, a vile woman who considers children the bane of all existence. Lizuca and the dachshund escape the wicked stepmother and spend the night in a hollow tree, a tree that changes into an enchanted land where Lizuca (like Alice through the Looking Glass) discovers a world of characters in the form of bees, frogs, the four seasons, Snow White, her dwarves, and other fairy tale creatures. This magic place is threatened by the evil stepmother's plan to sell the grove that protects the secret land to developers -- a decision that puts the woman on trial before this perfidy can be realized.

This blend of comedy and psycho-drama is comprised of two disturbing stories. The first tells the tale of a robot who is set to Earth by his home planet to discover new energy sources. In the second a boy is sent into deep space as part of an inhuman experiment designed to create the perfect human.

Pretentious Chirita weaves big matrimonial plans, because oh, oh what a pain / to have unmarried girls!. Dissatisfied with the boyars who aspire to the hand of her daughters, she descends in Iasi with the opportunity to find them better suitors. Entanglements, chases, travesties, fainting, tricks, twirls, romances, serenades, a king of triviality given as humor and irony.

Sequel to the comedy *Bucharest Identity Card*: After a turbulent marriage and divorce, Silvia and Radu part ways, only to be reunited in Bolintin—she as an agricultural engineer, he as a veterinarian—where they rediscover their bond.

A lunatic conductor-director brings to light a kaleidoscope of characters from a kind of insect. Comedy in "zig-zag" from smile to laugh, inspired by a book by humorist Valentin Silvestru.
