A screen adaptation of the novel of the same name by the well-known Georgian writer Nodar Dumbadze. This story about love and loyalty, bravery and betrayal, began shortly before the Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Georgy Tumurashvili, a militia man, was affectionately called “Cucaracha”, by both the kids and the adults. He was a conscientious divisional inspector investigating various incidents, calling to order local hoodlums and settling family arguments. Once he helped out Inga who fell prey to Murtalo, a bandit and murderer. The young people fell in love with each other. But Murtalo decided to take revenge on Kukaracha…

The film is based on a real story. Climbers found the purse of a military postman killed during World War II, letters sent 30 years later.

A group of geologists discover oil under the fields where Sosana, the aged and anachronistic father, raises his herd with his unhappy wife, her friend and his growing boy with whom he displays a wonderful rapport. The Great Patriotic War is coming to an end. Six-year-old Zuriko lives with his grandmother in a small Georgian village. His mother abandoned him and his father is at the front. The boy waits for his father, but he doesn't come back from the war alone, but with a new wife, Iano. A conflict arises between the three.

Zura, a son of a rich businessman, steals a car of his father’s friend to amuse his classmates. When informed about it, the school principal discards him from the bike tournament. Nevertheless, Zura’s father manages to persuade her to allow his son to participate and even succeeds in bribing his championship. Zura’s classmates know that he became a champion undeservedly but can’t do anything about it. Only Khatuna, his alleged girlfriend, and Lexo, Zura’s friend, dare to protest against it. Their lack of loyalty enrages Zura and in the rush of the blood he crashes his father’s car. The accident takes Laxo’s life. Zura’s father does his best to save his son from deserved punishment but the first one against his decision is Zura himself.

The hero of the film is the son of a high-ranking official. His parents do not care for him, and the boy's only friend is his father's driver. Time passes, Gela's father is fired from his job, his car is confiscated, and the boy is left without friends.

Based on the works of Jean Anouilh. Eurydice and Orpheus meet on the platform of a railway station along with other heroes of the film. Among them is Death, who kills Eurydice. Orpheus tries in vain to save Eurydice from the kingdom of death.

A custody battle goes awry for mother Lile when her son is sent to live with her mother-in-law, Nina. Time passes and Lile eventually hears that her son, Luka, has been killed in the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict. It's now 1993 and the war is drawing to an end. Lile travels back to the village where Luka was raised to collect his body for burial.

Tadeoz Toroshelidze is the most reknowned wine drinker in the whole area. Once he even won a drinking horn in a competition that has rested in his house ever since.

A traumatized boy starts to bully his new classmates, and tries to find meaning in his life.
