Ami Shoshan is the star of the "Sons of Jerusalem" football club, a team known for its violent, racist and homophobic fans. One unfortunate evening Shoshan flirts with a beautiful woman not knowing that she is the mistress of a local Mafia boss, “Blackie” Bokovza. The punishment for this offence is that Ami must summon a press conference and announce that he is gay.

The film is set in the near future, and it looks back on how peace was made in 2013 between Israel and Palestine. It is the story of two businessmen - one Palestinian and one Israeli - who struggle to set up a solar energy company. Both come from societies where there is strong opposition to cooperating with the other, and the film tells how they overcome hostility from within their own families and from the people around them. In the end, they mount a Facebook campaign that brings popular support both to their joint venture and to the peace process. The film was produced by Amir Harel, an Academy Award-nominated Israeli producer, and directed by Sameh Zoabi, a leading Palestinian film-maker.

Danny gets dumped by Noa, who finds it difficult to bear his sensibilities. Moving between scathing realism and subtle irony, the film raises questions of belonging and uprooting, exile and emigration, home and family. Meir Cohen is a decorated police officer yet he barely earns a living. His new assignment to deport African migrant workers teaches him that foreigners aren’t the only ones with no future in his country. Other plotlines intertwine with Meir’s story: an Israeli-Filipino boy fighting for recognition; a taxi driver whose children are migrating to a distant country; and a veteran migrant worker who’s forced to decide whether to leave or to hide until trouble passes.

Beni and Reuven, childhood friends and brothers-in-law, work together as TV technicians. They are called for a simple repair job in a place they find abandoned and unlocked, with the door wide open. Inside, they are surprised to find a dead body, unaware that the crime scene they have stumbled upon belongs to a known criminal. They make every possible mistake, turning themselves into the prime suspects of the murder case. From this point forward, they try to stay away from both the crime family and the police.
