Vincenzo Mollica

Much has been told about Federico Fellini, but one chapter remains largely unexplored. It is the final decade of his life and artistic career. During the 1980s and 1990s, the film industry celebrated him while struggling to support his visions. The Maestro never stopped creating and fought to continue expressing himself. Sharing his dreams and extraordinary energy were exceptional companions: Roberto Benigni, Martin Scorsese, Nicola Piovani, Vincenzo Mollica, Milo Manara, and his inseparable secretary, Fiammetta Profili. Ultimo Fellini reveals the man behind the icon through three years of research, private archives, and previously unseen footage, beginning with the precious materials of Vincenzo Mollica.

Milo Manara revolutionized the comics imagination, liberating female desire through the protagonists of his comics. His career was marked by his encounter with Hugo Pratt, his mentor and companion, and by his exploration of the power of sex as a political act, culminating in the publication of Il gioco. His partnership with Federico Fellini redefined the boundaries between eroticism, cinema, and comics, and his unmistakable style made him a point of reference for entire generations.

No other country in the world has the same kind of affection and admiration toward Walt Disney and his art and characters as Italy. His movies are legendary and his stories belong to the collective imagination of generations of Italians who grew up with his world of dreams and hopes. This documentary explores this love story.
