Patricia is in love with Artur, who works in her parents’ farm. Both are very happy and full of plans, but Artur is violently killed by her father, leading her to die of a broken heart. Years later, their souls begin to torment those who live in the house.

In the future, when everybody is going to wear fancy clothing and make-up, and be aggressive as a form of survival, two rival punk gangs fight for the same territory. Action takes place mostly during the nights, and people gather in groups usually having some big name as leader, such as punk singers. After groups are formed, they start fighting against each other, trying to secure leadership. Main groups are the Lady's, the Baby's, the Drago's and the Ratos (Rats). They mix sex with violence, sometimes with subsequent death. One of the few dissonant voices is Gatão (Big Cat), kind of barbarian super-hero who faces punk tribes alone, standing for old-fashioned values such as honor, honesty, loyalty and care for defenceless people. Kind of "The Warriors" (1979) wannabe.

Fausto and Gilda who are married for a long time and love themselves deeply. But Gilda dies leaving Fausto alone with their 8-year-old daughter and a governess. Being shaken, he retreats to his country house. His female doctor is the only one who visits him. He starts being plagued every night by wet dreams, visions and hallucinations of some women and his wife, who insistently asks him to join him. After some time, Fausto can't distinguish any longer what is reality or dream.

From Friday night 'til Sunday morning, the doors of a new world open inside a nightclub in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. We watch the emotions and conflicts experienced by a series of characters, who find on the dance floor the ideal stage to represent the tragedy of their lives.
