The film ends in highly dramatic fashion with Mirna stabbing Jacky to death and subsequently being sent to prison

The not so attractive gals get several chances to marry Uncle MG, or it's into his private jail. Old wives become queen bees, and must submit to the guards.

There, he falls in love with Sumi, the village beauty. Misfortune also falls on her when she is attacked with sulphuric acid that ruins her face. Returning to the village, he is surprised to find a woman who is similar to both Ratna and Sumi.

All the problems are finally resolved when David and Sarah are married.

Syachrin has become a producer and is making a film titled “Assoy”. During a birthday party of Mrs. Lies, Hetty sings a song that was composed specially by Syachrin for his wife, and this helps them to meet. The film uses songs, top singers, and a touching story, to repeat the successful formula that started with the film Terang Boelan. The singers Elvy Sukaesih, Lies Saodah, and Mansjur are popular Dangdut singers of the time, while Hetty Koes Endang was a rising pop singer. The appearance of the comedy Surya Group was designed as an added attraction, though it becomes more of a distraction.

Set in 1896, "Tjoet Nja' Dhien" celebrates one of Indonesia's great heroes who fought for independence from the Dutch. The pious Muslim people of Aceh, a city that had flourished since ancient times as a trade port, enter into a fierce war with the Dutch. Tjoet Nja' Dhien, the widow of a rebel leader operating in Aceh in Sumatra, assumes the leadership when her husband Teuku Uma is killed in an ambush. Dhien's charismatic presence and power of survival motivate the locals to join and later continue their opposition to the Dutch. Despite personal obstacles, she remained in the thick of the struggle for ten years.

During the course of her story (in which a number of brawls ensue), she is befriended by a Elvis-impersonating martial artist. This recut/redubbed version is 72 minutes long.
