Barney Ross leads a band of highly skilled mercenaries including knife enthusiast Lee Christmas, a martial arts expert Yin Yang, heavy weapons specialist Hale Caesar, demolitionist Toll Road, and a loose-cannon sniper Gunner Jensen. Clumsy old lady Dina Rocha lives with her son Marcelo. After a series of incidents at home, she moves to her house in Santa Teresa. She meets her friend Nonô and she pays a visit to her old friend. Her sons do not know where she is and they go to the hospitals and morgues. Coincidently there is the body of an old lady smashed by a truck and they believe that she is their mother. Meanwhile two smalltime thieves break in Nonô's house and keep the two old ladies locked in the bathroom. During the funeral of Dina Rocha, the dysfunctional families have a quarrel disputing their heritage.

Two friends determined to become respected police officers face prejudice and ridicule for being openly gay. Given one final chance, they go undercover to infiltrate a dangerous gang terrorizing the city. Posing as inmates, they navigate chaotic events, including a botched prison escape, while maintaining their cover and planning an ambush to take down the gang leader and her operation. Their mission culminates unexpectedly at a major fashion event, where they confront the criminals and finally prove their abilities, earning the respect they’ve long sought. The story blends action, comedy, and satire, highlighting themes of courage, friendship, and queer identity in traditionally macho spaces.

After another spat with her kids, Dona Hermínia decides to take some time off from them and hides away in her aunt's house, where she reminisces about her kids in an age when they still needed her.
