He is approached by a film crew from town headed by Pavan, to produce their debut venture. Omanakuttan who is a cinema aspirant, agrees to finance the film after he was offered the lead role.

Sachidanandan (Dileep) runs an antique shop in the Jewish street at Kochi. He is famous for old Gramophone records. Sachi hates music, as he believes that his father has not made any money out of it. Aryadevi, a famous singer, who has been given her first break by Raveendran, comes to Kochi from Bombay with her daughter Pooja (Navya Nair).

Chayilyam

Chayilyam is a Malayalam language film written and directed by Manoj Kana. The story is about the plight of a hapless widow, who is denied the freedom to lead a normal life by the society. The film was produced with contributions from more than 2,000 individuals and released in theatres in February 2014.

Set in the small town of Kerala, Irinjalakuda, Suvarnapurushan is about the ardent fans and loyal followers of the Malayalam superstar, Mohanlal. It revolves around a lady, the owner of the Mary Martha theatre and her struggles and fights with other theatre owners in the town to release Mohanlal's movie Pulimurugan in her theatre.

Nandakumar, a reporter, is assigned to cover the hapless plight of farmers at Pannakamkudi. Upon seeing their sufferings in person, he decides to help them.

Nandagopan, a poor villager, writes a script and wants the famous actor Sooryakiran to help him with the film. Sooryakiran rejects him, but he is moved when he takes a deeper look at the script.

Ishti

The film focuses on a very conservative Namboodiri family in a very regressive social milieu. Sreedevi stands up against orthodoxy. She manages to inspire her husband’s son from another marriage to read and write. The conflict between these characters and those who revolve around their lives is what the film is generally about. It then also becomes a strong comment on the attempt to balance worldly desires and the rigidity of caste and tradition.

Shankaranum Mohananum

A photographer is haunted by the ghost of his dead brother who always craved love. Mohan is a photographer who has separated from his wife, an aspiring actress. His brother, Sankaran is married to a much younger Rajalakshmi, whom he deeply loves. Sankaran dies due to a snakebite, but returns as a ghost. He then begins haunting his own brother!
