Summer begins and Fernando feels like hitting the road to meet a few ex-girlfriends. After spending some time with them, he feels the urge to become a father again. Back in Madrid, he tries to see how this could be done…

Roberto is a retired man who lives alone and rents a room in his house to a young student, Carmen, who soon begins to fascinate him; he spreads the joy of his new life to Carlos, an even older friend than him, who also decides to rent a room to another young girl, Sonia, who aspires to be a soccer player despite her dissolute life.

Lazarus is a Cuban appeal that makes a living in Madrid. When his girlfriend Dolores travels from Cuba to Spain to live with him, he is in prison for kidnapping and attempted rape. Dolores tries to survive with a broken heart, but his sympathy and sensuality will make adjusting to life in Madrid and try to exceed the Lazarus drug addiction.

Nico wants to become independent with his neighborhood colleague, Raca, but she doesn't want ties. Fed up with his parents, Nico leaves home and rents a room on the outskirts. Despite the distance, he begins to hang out with Leo, Raca's little brother, a boy who is getting hormones, because he wants to transition into a woman. Nico is torn between the love of his brother or his sister. Meanwhile, their respective families fall apart, because in one there is no love nor in the other fidelity.

Love knows no age, nor does paternity know sexual orientation. Alfonso falls in love with Carmen, just as he did with Roberto, his father. Myriam, his mother, has a relationship with Manu, much younger than her, even younger than her own son. Miguel is Carlos' son, he did not know his mother, he has a sentimental relationship with Julio and both want to be parents with a couple of lesbian friends.

Aitor is a director making a film about a lonely man looking for love, called “Soul Ache.” While he uses his auditions to meet women, he really longs to cast actress Myriam Mezieres in the film.
