The film consists of several novels reproducing the most vivid pages of the biography of the first Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of Azerbaijan Nariman Narimanov (1870-1925).

The film is based on a real story. Climbers found the purse of a military postman killed during World War II, letters sent 30 years later.

A film crew arrives in Georgia’s mountainous Khevsureti region. Lali Mindeli, a famous pop singer and film star who wants to know more about her character, walks around in traditional Khevsurian costume and rides horses. During the making of the film, she meets Vakhtang, but instead of introducing herself she tells him that she is Lali’s twin sister. Vakhtang falls in love and says he is ready to move to Khevsureti, making Lali realize that she’s playing a risky game with him.

Vazha served his sentence for stealing a cow and returned to the village. Upon his return, he decided to repair the house. His friends promised to help, but then everyone had their own business.

At the end of the 20th century, the son of a distinguished family, Sosiko Cholokashvili, became interested in cinematography, a field unknown to the public. When Imeda’s father is killed in a blood revenge accident, the family moves him to the city where he is sheltered at his father’s friend. After fifteen year he gets back to Khevsureti. A talented painter, he spends most of his time doing sketches of nature and people. There he meets a local beauty, Mzekala and fells in love with her but finds out that Torghva is also in love with her. Enraged by Imeda’s impudence Torghva calls him for a sword fight and is killed by Imeda. To avoid another round of blood revenge, the villagers let Imeda and Mzekala out of the village but someone who wants Imeda’s blood finds it out and follows them.

A young and inexperienced school teacher believes that she cannot find the right approach to the children and, frustrated by their behavior, decides to leave school. But homework assignments, in which the children describe their adventures and impressions, completely change her mood.

Instead of going to the front, where he had decided to go after his father’s death, Giga Betaneli ends up at a defence factory in Donbass. His fiancée Nana, who had not received any letters from him, believed he had died. Several years later, Betaneli returned and started working at a metallurgical plant. To his surprise, he discovered that Nana had married his new friend Tamaz. Devastated by the news, Giga realised that nothing could be changed.

The male choir enthusiastically welcomed the new conductor, a charming young woman.

Seeking to help Gia clarify her values, Salome asks her husband, Vakhtang, for assistance. After speaking with his son, Vakhtang realises that Gia is a decent young man who lives in accordance with the current times. However, Salome’s illness disrupts the family dynamics. Father and son decide to fulfil Salome’s dream and take her on a trip to Lithuania.

A group of rebel peasants rebels against the Menshevik government. They are led by Parnaoz Morchadze. Their uprising fails. The rebels take refuge in the forest. Parnaoz is eventually brutally murdered. Red Army units enter the city. In the street, comrades mourn Parnaoz, who did not live to see the victory.

A just man becomes an outlaw. He is pursued by the police over the years, while he tries to fight the injustice in the world, but he can't figure out the minds of his fellow men, and is often misunderstood.

The tragic events in Georgian history, spanning from the 16th to the 18th centuries, culminated in the signing of the Treaty of Georgievsk in 1783, which placed Georgia under Russian protection.
