Journey to the West comes to the big screen like never before in the 2007 film Saiyuuki! Also known as Monkey Magic and Adventures of the Super Monkey, this is the latest in a long line of adaptations of the Wu Cheng'en tome.

Ryujo Hoshiko (Goriki Ayame) comes to detective Kindaichi Kosuke’s (Yamashita Tomohisa) office with a request. She would like him to investigate an attempt to poison her father, Baron Ryujo Kiyohisa (Tsukayama Masane).

The Ganso and Honke are two medical wholesalers which have had a long history of exchanges. They were originally a wholesaler set up by Tokiya Manemon who invented a drug. After he fell ill, he imparted the formula to his two beloved disciples. But the two were at loggerheads and the enmity between them caused a split into two factions, the ‘original’ (Ganso) and the ‘originator’ (Honke). One day, an incident finally occurred. Kiichiro (Endo Kaname), the eldest son of the Honke, launched an attack on the young master of the Ganso, Nagahiko (Oshinari Shugo).

Themis is known as the goddess of law and order in Greek mythology. This story takes place at a law school where students aspire to become judges, prosecutors, and lawyers. Hiiragi Shizuku, who is both a judge and a law teacher, is confronted with the reality of the law school, where the teachers are only interested in teaching students how to pass the bar exam. With her belief that "one cannot become a good lawyer if you do not know people", Shizuku decides to create a new trend in the law school by teaching the students how to learn more about "people", which is something that cannot be learned from textbooks.

She first attends a company presentation by ANA. There, she sees elite persons who have dreamed of becoming pilots for lengthy periods of time and airplane enthusiasts. She becomes overwhelmed by them. Haru is indecisive about whether she wants to go through with it, but she manages to barely pass her test. Now, Haru wants to become a pilot, but what awaits for her is harsh training.

That email states that her ex-boyfriend Eiji Morikawa died. She is also surprised to learn that his will states that his entire fortune will be handed over to the person who killed him. Reiko Kenmochi devises a plan to split her ex-boyfriend's fortune with Shinoda, turning Shinoda into Eiji Morikawa’s killer.

The tale of four brothers and their widower father, who heads a large Buddhist temple in Tokyo. Goro Kishitani, the oldest brother, does not want to take over the temple. Papa-san frequents Ginza clubs and had a cigarette or a toothpick dangling from his mouth for most of the first episode. He hires an "Otonashi Karen look-alike" (Kimura Yoshino) with a crush on Nakai as housekeeper and she bops around the temple grounds as if it was Shibuya on a Sunday. The opening sequence where they all grab guitars, line up in black robes in front of the temple incense burner.

Kaede is good at heart and finds it difficult to refuse favors asked of her. And then she's got no sense of direction. For the people she meets up with, she seems to be an angel who brings happiness from somewhere and then goes silently on her way. She actually just wants to go home, but with all the things happening to her, home seems farther and farther away. Will she be able to return home by her wedding day, which is just a month away? How long will this calamitous journey of self-discovery continue?
