Fifteen-year-old country girl Suzume Yosano has to move to Tokyo to live with her uncle due to her father's transfer. Biblia Second-hand Bookstore has been quietly open for business in some corner of Kamakura. Its owner is Shinokawa Shioriko, a young, pretty but introverted girl who is extremely shy around strangers and cannot interact well with people she meets for the first time. However, when it comes to knowledge of old books, no one can to compare to her. Talking about books makes Shioriko forget her shyness. In fact, she becomes eloquent and passionate. The story continues from the Japanese SIGNAL drama series. In 2021, a limousine taxi driver causes an accident on a highway, and a high-level government official dies in the accident. The cold case investigation unit, including Kento Saegusa and team leader Misaki Sakurai, have doubts about the case. Meanwhile, in 2009, administrative officers die consecutively in car accidents. The police announce these deaths as accidents. Takeshi Ōyama believes that these deaths were not the product of simple accidents. At 11:23 pm, a walkie-talkie turns on and makes a connection between the future and past. Kento Saegusa and Takeshi Ōyama face the threat of bioterrorism.

Iori Igarashi works as a radiographer at a general hospital. He has been depressed, because An Amakasu, whom he loves, has decided to travel abroad to Washington Medical University to learn more as radiologist. The members of Radiation House encourages Iori. One day, An learns that her father is in serious condition. Her father was the only practicing doctor at a small clinic on a remote island. When An arrives, her father tells her to be a doctor who sees patients as a person and not a disease before he passed away. An decides to stay on the island because of a patient that her father cared about. A massive typhoon soon hits the island and a landslide then occurs. An unknown infectious disease spreads afterwards on the island. Iori knows that An is struggling on the remote island and he makes a decision for An and the residents of the island.
