During an afternoon and evening, we follow a family's everyday life. From the child's perspective, we see how the bizarre the world can seem sometimes.

A street theatre group performs anti-capitalist and anti-militarist plays. The inner conflicts, about how to reach and how tight they shall embrace the working class, escalates and the group split up.

A woman humiliates and shouts at her husband, before she ties him up and disappears. He frees himself and calls a friend who comes over. He tries to tell the friend how his wife treats him but the friend does not seem to understand or accept what he is saying. The man then puts on his wife’s negligee and suggest a role-play in order for the friend to understand better. The man plays his wife while the friend plays the man. After a while they switch roles. Later the wife returns with a male friend, a psychologist, to find her husband and his friend in female attire.

A very old lady has lost her way in a city and a distinguished gentleman decides to follow her home.

A young girl dreams of a birthday party, where family and friends from her day-care center are invited. But in fact, her parents are always quarreling.

About a girl growing up in a big city in the seventies. She cultivates her artistic ambitions. After a series of relationships, she gets a small part in a play and becomes pregnant.

A tiny theatrical company turns into a war zone of egos as a new play goes into rehearsal in this broad comedy from Sweden. A camera crew from a television outlet is on hand to shoot a commercial as a harried director tries to put her cast through their paces. Not everyone, however, feels like cooperating; her two leading men seem to be competing over who gets most of the spotlight, much to the annoyance of the female star, while the troupe's makeup artist has a plan of his own.

The love scenes are played to a minimum and the working women's fight is adjourned to the last scene [and cut from some DVD editions] that concentrates all the pathos announced throughout by the eerie music.

Discover acclaimed Swedish choreographer Mats Ek’s 1987 reworking of the ballet classic, Giselle, for the Cullberg Ballet. With the sensational Ana Laguna in the title role, Mats Ek’s interpretation of the ballet classic has all the whimsy and imaginative innovation so closely associated with the choreographer. In this version of Giselle, the traditional romantic Rhineland village is replaced by a landscape in the shape of breasts, and the supernatural realm of the Wilis is replaced by the harsh reality of a lunatic asylum giving this interpretation a harsh modern relevance. Ana Laguna dances superbly as the barefoot girl who falls ‘madly in love’.
