Solemn Promise

Azem, an Albanian, school attendance, gives Filip a promise (Besa) to watch the Lea and that nothing will happen. Lea and Azem, are forced to live together in an abandoned school. Their relationship changes during the time.

A Film with No Name

The Kosovo region of Yugoslavia near the Albanian border is the scene of political unrest and a modern Romeo and Juliet romance in this satirical political drama. A film director (Meto Jovanovski) gathers information for his documentary about the Serbs being forced to depart by Albanian Moslems. As the region heads towards ethnic warfare, the young Albanian woman Nadira (Sonja Jacevska) falls in love with the Serbian Miloljub (Cedo Arobabic). He is captured and castrated, and the private lives of Milobjub and Nadira become part of the director's story in his film. He must answer to the financiers and producers who believe his film was to be a comedy. The events foreshadow a long and bloody conflict between two factions, a battle that has not abated in the ten years since this film's initial release.

Virgina

"Virgina" tells a tale from the 19th century Serbian village near the Adriatic Sea. Because of the extreme patriarchal culture there is a superstition that families without male heirs are cursed. When the wife gives birth to their fourth daughter, father decides that the child will become a so-called "Virgina" and that she will live as a man.

The Fragrance of Wild Flowers

A well known theater and movie actor, dissatisfied with his conditions at home and at the theater suddenly stops the dress rehearsal of a play in which he has one of the main roles, and goes on the Danube to visit his friend, a boatman transporting bricks on his small barge from a brick plant in a poor settlement to Belgrade. This unexpected action confuses everyone in the actor’s environment. Everybody sets out to the Danube in order to find out the real reason for the actor’s odd behavior and to find out when he will return to normal life. The actor refuses to talk, stating that he only knows what he does not want! The young director, who had started working on filming a portrait of the actor prior, doesn’t know what to do. The opening night is postponed.

If It Kills Me

For being unable to find any decent job, an unconventional young man of working-class background gives up of all sorts of employment, and accompanied by his girlfriend, he tells his story in front of film cameras.

Social Game

Director of this movie gave an advertisement in many Yugoslav papers calling everybody who wants to act in movie regardless of age, look or profession to reply. From 7000 arrived letters, about 30 heroes were picked up for the movie and its story was made based on what they wished to play.

Jelena

The story of Jelena is set to Serbia's capital Belgrad and it follows the life of an ordinary woman, who's not happy in love. She's married to Ratko and has two children Sasa and Lidija. Inspite of years that went by, Jelena never managed to forget Vuk, a love of her life she has been involved with in her youth. She was separated from Vuk under tragic and mysterious circumstances. After 3 decades in his wish to pursue justice, Vuk returns to his city bringing his daughter Helen with him. His attempt to clarify what happened and to prove the truth is sabotaged by Jelena's husband who keeps failing in business more and more. Even though he loves Jelena, he has a relationship with Sofija, the owner of a modeling agency. Nobody expects that the accidental encounter between Sasa and Helen will become fatal once they decided to start the life together.

Grlom u jagode is a 1975 Yugoslavian TV miniseries directed by Srđan Karanović and co-written by Karanović and Rajko Grlić. Depicting the life and times of a young man nicknamed Bane Bumbar, the series achieved huge popularity throughout SFR Yugoslavia. Revolving around Bane, his family, and his circle of friends, the series also portrays 1960s Belgrade, Serbia and Yugoslavia.
