La Araucana is a Chilean film based on an epic poem in Spanish about the Spanish conquest of Chile, by Alonso de Ercilla; it is also known in English as The Araucaniad. It is considered the national epic of the Kingdom of Chile and one of the most important works of the Spanish Golden Age

A newly remarried widow is accused of having murdered her first husband, who died from arsenical poisoning. Being her present husband a lawyer he takes charge of her defense.

Dr. Henry Mills a very renowned cardiac specialist, disagrees with his wife, because of their religious beliefs, and more particularly because it encourages his son Ernesto to follow the priesthood. Mills is unfaithful to his wife, Isabel. She knows her husband's betrayal, and he secretly decides to separate, without sharing the marital bed, but keeping a secret from society.

In a sector of Madrid inhabited by families of a well-off class, a gang of boys and girls has continuous fun, sleep and drink, while their parents ignore practically everything. However, each of these young people has, to a greater or lesser degree, a problem. The parties and parties enjoyed by a group of young people from the upper class are the basis of the story that explains this film. Among them we find the famous couple, once happy, formed by Carlos Larrañaga and María Luisa Merlo. Directed by Fernando Palacios, and with a script by Rafael J. Salvia and Pedro Masó, " It's always Sunday " has no greater intention than entertainment, despite giving history a certain sociological touch, for that of valuing the behavior of the Youth of the time.

Andras Pulac, a young pianist, refuses to perform a concert in honor of a senior Soviet leader, as a sign of rebellion against the 1956 invasion of Hungary. His refusal, although he does not know it, harms the organizers of a demonstration against the communist cruelty, since his concert had been chosen like slogan. When Pulac finds out, he agrees to give the concert. Andras and Maria Kondor, the daughter of a communist journalist, are in love and decide to get married before the concert. Meanwhile, communist repression in the streets provokes the anger of the Hungarian people and gives rise to a real revolution.

A married man has a brief affair, then goes back to his wife and children. His jilted mistress, believing that if he had no more family he'd come back to her, sets fire to his house, hoping to kill them. The man, unsuccessfully trying to rescue them, is horribly burned. After he undergoes an operation to reconstruct his face, he begins to plot his revenge against his former mistress.

Maria del Pilar is in love with Sebastian, a servant of his house. But her father wants her to marry Marcos a rich landowner. The girl refuses Marcos and he decides to take revenge.

The bullfight is about to begin. On the bill are announced the toreros Ricardo Puente, Juan Carmona and Rondeño II, who will take the alternative. Puente is an old bullfighter, famous in earlier times, who, now bitter and full of resentment, lives with Paloma, a woman who is not resigned to continue being the lover of a man who has fallen into oblivion. Carmona, the fashionable bullfighter, has an important contract to fight in America, but his wife Isabel wants him to reject the offer. Anamaría, Carmona's sister, hopes that her brother will approve her relationship with Rondeño II; but Carmona opposes because he considers him a bad bullfighter. In a fourth, hopeful and exciting plot, a young amateur bullfighter has a plan to sneak into the ring and fight a bull, hoping for public acclaim for his feat of bravery.
