Bosse works at an advertising agency while working on the novel of the century. At a burger restaurant he meets Lena, and before he knows it, she is pregnant. And then Anna has suddenly gone. She has got a pleasant job in another town. And then W's feelings awaken.

They exchange no dialogue, nor gestures, they simply sit and bask in their own misfortune.

Anderssonskan's Kalle is the typical 'Söderkis'. It's a boy growing up on Söder in Stockholm and he is very fond of practical jokes. His mother sees him as a good natured boy but his victims, mostly the local policeman and two old crones in the same house, see him as the devil himself.

Sjökvist needs a woman to tidy up his general store and Åsa-Nisse helps him out to put an ad in the local newspaper.

The most popular bands in Sweden are travelling from Stockholm to Gothenburg for a pop contest. The problem is that no one has the money needed to get to Gothenburg, and no one wants the other bands to reach the destination. Some of the most popular Swedish bands of the 1960s figures in the movie: Lee Kings, Spotnicks, Ola & The Janglers, Jerry Williams & The Violents, Shanes, Sten & Stanley and Hounds.
