Abel Garrido, a doctor, returns to his hometown to stay. There he meets Mingo and his girlfriend Rita, and they become good friends. But when war comes in 1936, he must go and fight. The events that happen afterwards will take him to confront with Mingo.

Daniel, son of an important businessman, discovers a strong incestuous desire for his mother after a car accident in which his father dies. Feeling guilty about his father's death, he seeks refuge in the special affection and attraction he feels for his mother.

Pablo is a twenty-year-old man who wants to be a musician in order to be appreciated by his mother and find a male partner he can share his love with. He finds one, but because of his demanding behaviour, he is soon alone again. He tries to become a French horn player in the Youth Spain National Orchestra, but the examiner turns out to be his father, who's been living apart from his family and doesn't really accept Pablo's sexual trends. Once Pablo fails in his exam, he feels very depressed. When another French horn player from Valencia hasn't got a place to sleep, Pablo takes him home to his house. The next morning, however, he finds a girl named Salome inside of his bed.

Pelayo is leaving to work for his uncle Lorenzo and to find a nice girl to settle down with. Pelayo arrives to find out that Lorenzo's "business" is in fact a male strip show and Lorenzo's dancers are a laughing stock. Lorenzo has all his money tied up in his wedding with ex-prostitute Palmira. With Pelayo arriving life turns upside down. Can Lorenzo keep his infidelities a secret and his crew off the streets? Can Pelayo keep from falling for a prostitute on his way to finding a wife?

Nearly a half-millenium after they were blinded and executed for committing human sacrifices, a band of Templar knights returns from the grave to terrorize a rural Portuguese village during its centennial celebration. A small group of people take refuge in a deserted cathedral and must find a way to escape from the creatures.
