When his mother decides it is finally time Herbert moves out, the reserved municipal civil servant ends up in his deceased dad’s conked-out old timer. The housing market is overheated, so finding a house is impossible. After several frantic efforts, due to a mistake he is admitted to a students’ dorm. For the first time, Herbert has to learn what it means to share a bathroom, shower, kitchen and living room with lots of people. And the students suddenly have to deal with a forty-something in their chaotic party house. Will these improbable housemates manage to find domestic peace?

Casey is a student teacher who gets his very first placement in class 5b. He is not sure how to teach yet, but thankfully the children are more than willing to help him.

Dikkertje Dap was born on the same day as Raf the giraffe. Dikkertje can often be found at the zoo, because Raf is his best friend. They are inseparable, until Dikkertje goes to school for the first time and finds out giraffes can’t go to school. Dikkertje dearly misses Raf, but also experiences exciting new things. Moreover, it is to be staged in a dusty room within a nearby retirement home. But Mees Kees wouldn't be Mees Kees if he didn't put his own twist on things...

Class 6b is going camping, led by Mees Kees and Principal Dreus. But after Dreus strains her back all responsibility suddenly rests on the shoulders of Kees. When things go wrong, he begins to doubt himself. But he soon learns that it is not about making mistakes, but about how to solve them.
