A countryman kills his father and heads for the big city. On his way, he meets the most bizarre and allegorical types: a robber, a drag queen who thinks he's Carmen Miranda, a black king, a fallen black angel, a priest, two whores, a pregnant cowboy, among others.

Fascinação is a Brazilian telenovela produced by SBT and originally broadcast from May 25 to November 6, 1998. Written by Walcyr Carrasco, with collaboration by Ecila Pedroso, it is a free adaptation of the Argentine telenovela Piel naranja. The telenovela stars Regiane Alves, Marcos Damigo, Heitor Martinez, and Glauce Graieb. Set in the 1930s, the story follows Ana Clara Guimarães, the intelligent daughter of a milkman who falls in love with the wealthy Carlos Eduardo da Silva Prates. Although they dream of building a life together, their romance is threatened by Carlos Eduardo's ambitious mother, Melânia, who conspires to separate them. After a series of cruel deceptions leaves Ana Clara pregnant, abandoned, and forced to rebuild her life, she must overcome betrayal, injustice, and heartbreak in her fight for happiness and true love.

Brava Gente was a television series aired by TV Globo in Brazil between 2000 and 2003, initially as a special year-end. The program was adapted from stories and national stories, and plays by famous playwrights, screenwriters and signed by a number represented by several actors and actresses. The genres of the stories varied each week with the style of each director or author. Brava Gente in the stories ranged from comedies and dramas. In all 53 episodes were shown, broadcast on Tuesday nights.
