Anthology crime television series inspired by four real-life cold cases in Taiwan, exploring themes such as faith, temptation, redemption, and obligation through the eyes of the people of Taiwan.

The movie tells the real-life love story of Lt. Col. Lee Cheng-liang, a high profile Indigenous Defense Fighter (IDF) jet pilot, and his visually impaired wife, who are played by Taiwanese actor Bryant Chang and actress Tiffany Hsu, respectively.

When her filmmaker grandfather, Liu Chi-Sheng, lands in hospital, 18-year-old Jie has him recount the love story between him and her grandmother, Chiang Mei-Yue, that happened during a visit of the film sets of Beitou.

Their reputation has risen with every mystery they solve, but the cases are not as simple as they seem as it relates to unsettled animosity from the previous generation. The four members of the team suddenly realize that they have complicated ties to each other.
