Charley Boorman: Ireland to Sydney by Any Means

In 2004 Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman embarked on an epic challenge to bike 20,000-miles across 12 countries and 19 time zones in just 115 days. Watch as two friends ride around the world together and, against all the odds, realize their dream.

Three years after Long Way Round, Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman set off on a 15,000-mile journey from the northernmost tip of Scotland to the southernmost tip of South Africa, mixing their love of motorcycles with the lure of far-flung roads.

Best friends Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman gear up for their fourth Long Way series—this time going from Ewan's home in Scotland to Charley's in England. They'll take the scenic route, of course, through 17 European countries on cranky old bikes.

The epic motorcycle adventure continues in this third chapter of the Long Way series, as Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman journey to glorious landscapes across South and Central America—on the backs of prototype electric Harley-Davidsons.

Charley Boorman embarks on an adventure in Sydney and travels up the Pacific Rim through Australia, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, the Philippines and Taiwan, eventually finishing in Tokyo, Japan.

Cameras follow David Beckham as he attempts to play a football match on all seven continents and get back in time for his own UNICEF fundraising match at Old Trafford. On the journey, he discovers what football means to the many different people he meets and plays with, as well as some of the universal truths about the game itself, including its ability to inspire and unite people.

Charley Boorman travels the world on his trusty BMW GS Adventure motorcycle.

Following the success of his previous two expeditions across Canada and South Africa, Charley is back on his bike and this time he is taking on one of the most spectacular countries in the world, The United States of America. Travelling alongside fellow adventurer and director Russ Malkin, this series follows the pair from the volcanic infernos of Hawaii to the icy peaks of Alaska, and then from east to west as they venture off the beaten track to go in search of extreme adventures in the wilderness. This is a journey that tests Charley to the max as he is confronted with some of the most spine tingling challenges he has ever faced. The high risks and low margins for error bring out Charley s humour and the camaraderie he has with those who often hold his life in their hands.
