An unknown man wakes up in a psychiatric hospital. He doesn't remember anything. No one knows how they got here. It is only known that his name is Ivan, he has been in the hospital for a year, and all this time he was under the influence of strong antidepressants. Only the director of the clinic knows the true state of affairs, but on the same day he mysteriously dies.

The series tells about a group of teenagers in a children's hospital, about their growing up and struggling with circumstances, about how the characters are friends and love, respond to the challenges of fate and make principled choices.

Coach Mikhail Kovalev loses his job due to his scandalous nature and disrespectful attitude towards women. To return to the Super League, he needs to win the volleyball championship with the provincial student women's team. Irina, the perfectionist vice-rector, and Natalia, the ex-girlfriend who harbored a grudge against him, will try to prevent him from doing this.

Vadik, a young opera singer from Moscow, is being transferred to St. Petersburg because his fiancee lives here. As a mentor, Vadik receives a senior operative, Captain Gosha Kolpakov, a psychotic suicidal and misanthropic man living the darkest moment of his life. Two partners travel around St. Petersburg near Bulanov and investigate the case of the disappearance of the corpses of young girls from morgues.
