But more obstacles lie ahead, changes that will throw her already fragile life further awry.

This is a medical manga set in a child psychiatry clinic, where the heroine, Shiho Tono, a trainee doctor, meets children with various mental illnesses, including the director Takashi Sayama, and tries to find solutions. There are very few stories that can be completed in one episode, and the style is often of dividing a theme into multiple stories and solving the problem from various angles, rather than solving the problem completely.

Into the bully-infested home room class struts a fearless, ceramic-masked student. Squarely confronting a gang of ruffians, it is soon discovered that behind the mask is none other than Danta, an otherwise weakling student who has heretofore been picked on relentlessly by these same bullies. Tsukiko Otonashi is a fashionista who is too beautiful to be a detective. She is also intrigued by urban legends so much so that she believes all crimes are somehow linked to these legends. She even conducts her investigations in such a way as to prove them to be true. Tsukiko also likes to make use of whatever she can. She especially likes to enlist the help of crime lab officer Hitoro Katsuura, who happens to have a crush on her. Many other unique characters will make appearances as she investigates the crimes related to urban legends, using odd and exquisite techniques.

At a prestigious high school in Tokyo, the third grade D class consists of high scoring students. Their previous homeroom teacher went crazy in a short period of time and quit their job. The students in third grade D class pushes their homeroom teachers to the edge and watches their teachers collapse mentally. The students view it as a game they enjoy playing. Tsuneo Yoshizawa appears in third grade D class as their new homeroom teacher. Tsuneo Yoshizawa keeps a smile on his face, even though he is attacked verbally and physically by the students. He never loses his smile. The students' behavior gets worse towards Tsuneo Yoshizawa and they concoct a plan to kill their teacher.

Chiyomi Horikiri (Ai Iinuma) is a warm hearted high school student. She is a member of her school's basketball team. She stays bright even in a bit complicated family composition. Her boyfriend is Hiroyuki Minami (Yusei Yagi). One day, Hiroyuki Minami suddenly shrinks in size to only 15 cm. in height. He can easily fit in the palm of someone's hand. He appears in front of his girlfriend Chiyomi Horikiri.

Makoto Aida, 23, is a first year detective...a rookie. The only thing the rookie detective has going for him is the fact that he is a nice guy. Thinking that he can beat the recession by becoming a civil servant, Makoto takes all kinds of employment exams. The only one he passes though is to become a police officer. After becoming a policeman, Makoto gets assigned to work as a cop in rural, Okutama, and begins to look forward to the easy life. He somehow winds up helping out in the apprehension of a suspect of a brutal crime, and gets awarded a letter of recommendation, which incidentally is to become a detective. Being that Makoto doesn't like to get involved in other people's quarrels, he is relieved to find out that he will be assigned to work public safety issues instead of criminal investigations. -- Fuji TV

Ran's over-possessive manic love towards Shin makes her consumed with jealousy against Hikari. And Hikari's fiancé Kōta also finds himself suffering from his love and his jealousy… Shin's presence is driving him slowly but steadily to the brink of insanity.
