Dave Gorman's Modern Life is Goodish

Dave Gorman tells the story of his attempt to find 10 'Googlewhacks' (websites containing two unique words when searched on Google) and meet their owners before his 32nd birthday, in order to win a bet.

Comedy series where Dave Gorman and a celebrity guest chew over the ridiculous, unworkable but sometimes genius inventions, schemes and policies pitched by members of the public

Dave Gorman, never one to turn down a daft quest, decides to live his life strictly by the advice of horoscopes for 40 days and nights. He picks 20 astrologers and picks one piece of clear advice each day to follow. To ensure that he can compare his happiness with how he would have been without the advice, he uses his twin brother as a control. A panel of experts on love, health and wealth sit in judgement on how he has done in order to ascertain his HQ (happiness quotient).

Dave Gorman, a British Comedian, undertakes a challenge set by his flat mate Danny Wallace, to find 54 of his namesakes (1 for every card in the deck, including jokers). The show is presented over a series of six episodes by Dave Gorman himself in what can only be described as a lecture format. The series charts the trials and tribulations that greet Dave as he attempts to complete his task.

Set in the world of fashion and PR, immature fun-loving mother Edina Monsoon and her best friend Patsy drive Eddie's sensible daughter, Saffron, up the wall with their constant drug abuse and outrageous selfishness. Numerous in-jokes and heavy doses of cruel humour have made this series a cult hit in the UK and abroad.

Manchester, 1976. Tony Wilson is an ambitious but frustrated local TV news reporter looking for a way to make his mark. After witnessing a life-changing concert by a band known as the Sex Pistols, he persuades his station to televise one of their performances, and soon Manchester's punk groups are clamoring for him to manage them. Riding the wave of a musical revolution, Wilson and his friends create the legendary Factory Records label and The Hacienda club.

Once again Dave will be bringing his trusty screen along but now, in each episode, he will also be joined by three comedy guests as they cast their eye over his latest modern world discoveries, compete in mischievous games and generally try to unscramble the baffling morass of non-stop information that surrounds us in the internet age.

With a distinctive style of storytelling, Dave has emerged as one of the most unique, original and exciting comedy minds that the UK has produced. Not only is he one of the biggest contemporary comedians and sharpest raconteurs but he is also a hugely successful author.
