Het Eiland

Neveneffecten is a TV-program on Flemish public television, written and performed by the cabaret quartet of the same name. It's a comedy-show that contains a lot of absurd humor, based on the National Geographic documentaries. Famous directors of the show are Bart De Pauw and Jan Eelen.

In de gloria was a Flemish sketch comedy show by Jan Eelen that ran on the Canvas television station in the period 2000–2002. It ran for 2 seasons, each containing 10 episodes. The show featured fictitious television reports presented as if they were real. In De Gloria was a satire on reality television and human interest programs featuring ordinary people, portrayed by the cast. The title translates to "in the glory".

Each short story plays in the same setting with 2 characters, each on their side of the glass of the visitors area from a prison that them (and also the world) divides.

Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010. In Bruges, some 200 cyclists and their entourage are getting ready for the 94th Tour of Flanders. A sea of supporters awaits them along the route, while millions more follow Flanders' finest on radio or TV. With the race as a backdrop, De ronde tells the story of a number of people who, like the cyclists, have everything to gain or lose today. The series originally had nine episodes, but these were recut to seven episodes for the DVD.

After he’s laid off, Dirk Porrez is more determined than ever to get back to work. He establishes ‘Safety First,’ a private security firm that provides security services at all kinds of events. We follow the adventures of Dirk, Smos, Ingrid and Luc, four former colleagues who formed the company together. The futuristic mega discotheque Zillion is a fact and Frank turns from computer dealer to the pivotal figure of the Antwerp nightlife. He parades with the most beautiful women in Belgium and forges an alliance with Dennis Black Magic, the porn king who provides the spicy extras. Unfortunately, beautiful songs don't last long either.

It has been 20 years since The Island was unleashed on Flanders. After all these years, fans of the series are rewarded with an exclusive reunion special, in which thirteen original cast members and the creators reunite for a unique look back.
