Tutunamayanlar (The Misfits) is a 2020 Turkish absurdist dark comedy set in a quirky Istanbul neighborhood. Tarık — a man who has never held a job in his life — falls head over heels for İrem during a job interview. With nowhere else to go, İrem moves into his neighborhood and begins working at the local book café. What follows is a sharply funny, offbeat slice-of-life comedy about misfits, lovable losers, and the chaotic beauty of going nowhere fast.

16 year-old Mahmut’s life consists of feeding pigeons and making money from stealing others’ pigeons. His biggest dream is to have the best pigeons. One day, one of his pigeons escapes and does not return. When Mahmut finds a pigeon nesting on a roof, he meets Ismail, an 8-year-old living in that house. This meeting becomes one of the most important turning point that will affect both lives. Mahmut decides to steal the pigeons to help Ismail achieve his dream.

Turgut's life took an unexpected turn when he started experiencing bizarre and absurd adventures in his dreams. Each night, he would enter a realm filled with peculiar creatures, mythical landscapes, and enchanting wonders. At first, he dismissed them as mere dreams, but soon, he noticed a curious connection between these dreams and his waking life.
