Deng Xiaoping led efforts to train young cadres and restore the southwest, achieving unity and rapid development in the region. Through their dedication, soldiers and cadres played a crucial role in transforming and rebuilding southwestern China.

After China's defeat in 1895, Zhang Jian abandoned officialdom to pioneer industrial salvation, founding Dasheng Cotton Mill. Despite setbacks, he promoted education and expanded businesses, uplifting national industry. In his later years, though his ventures faltered, he remained devoted to the people, standing firm for his ideals.

In the winter of 2018, Yongxing Township begins its final push for poverty alleviation as twelve mountain households are relocated. Led by dedicated local officials, the village embraces sustainable development through flower farming, education, and elder care.
