The Watch House

The Paper Lads is a children's television series produced by Tyne Tees Television and broadcast from 1977 to 1979. There were two series made; each of seven episodes. It was set in Newcastle in North East England, and was based around the adventures of some newspaper delivery boys and girls. The signature tune of the series, "Back Home Once Again", was performed by progressive folk rock band Renaissance, and it appears as a full-length song on their 1978 album A Song For All Seasons. Network Video released the first episode on their collection "Look-Back on '70s Telly - Issue 2". The full series is due to be released on Network DVD on 29 July 2013. Two novels by William Humble based on the series were released by Target Books.

When Elfrida Philips abandons London for a country village, she settles in quickly. She is very poor, but has a tiny cottage, her four-legged friend Horace, and friendships of good neighbors. ITV Playhouse is a British comedy-drama TV series that ran from 1967 to 1983, which featured contributions from playwrights such as Dennis Potter, Rhys Adrian and Alan Sharp. The series began in black and white, but was later shot in colour and was produced by various companies for the ITV network, a format that would inspire Dramarama. Actors appearing in the series included Leslie Anderson, Gwen Nelson, Ricky Alleyne, Pat Heywood, Michael Elphick, Ian Hendry, Edward Woodward, Margaret Lockwood, Jessie Matthews and Lloyd Peters.

This ten episode program was based on ten short stories written by Agatha Christie but with wide-ranging themes. Some were romances, some had supernatural themes and a couple were adventures. The common link was that all came from the talented pen of Agatha Christie, all were entertaining and each drama was carefully crafted and well cast with many of Britain's best known actors of the time represented.

Teenage Billy Stanyon faces the loss of his parents in a sailing accident, only to discover that he was adopted. Billy then sets off on a journey to find his biological parents that takes him across Europe.

During the Second World War, a group of youth in the Northeast England town of Garmouth regularly suffer from bomb attacks by the German forces. One of the children raids a crashed German aircraft and takes a fully operational machine gun, intending to set up their own fortress. Playing with it causes a German plane to crash-land; the kids befriend the pilot, who is unaware that they had caused him to crash.

Cousins William, Mary, and Alice stay at their uncle's old house, Golden House, and discover a hidden room where they meet Stephen Tyler, a 16th-century magician who has travelled through time. They must help him protect the valley from his wicked apprentice, Matthew Morden, who seeks to disrupt the magical and ecological balance.

Armchair Theatre is a British television drama anthology series of single plays that ran on the ITV network from 1956 to 1974. It was originally produced by Associated British Corporation, and later by Thames Television from mid-1968.
