Angelica, an intelligent and prestigious scientist, invests all her chips in an experiment that promises to prolong human life. After discovering the elixir of youth, she reunites with her high school sweetheart, bringing back many dilemmas from the past. She tests the formula on herself and each dose makes her 30 years younger. She then starts switching between her current persona and the younger one, becoming her own rival. Meanwhile, her former boyfriend falls in love with both versions of the scientist, unaware this love triangle includes both identities of the same woman.

The daily lives of a typical Brazilian middle-class family, that are always very close and tries, in their way, to survive the financial and relationship difficulties.

The lively João Grilo and the sly Chicó are poor guys living in the hinterland who cheat a bunch of people in a small town in Northeastern Brazil. When they die, they have to be judged by Christ, the Devil and the Virgin Mary before they are admitted to paradise.

Brava Gente was a television series aired by TV Globo in Brazil between 2000 and 2003, initially as a special year-end. The program was adapted from stories and national stories, and plays by famous playwrights, screenwriters and signed by a number represented by several actors and actresses. The genres of the stories varied each week with the style of each director or author. Brava Gente in the stories ranged from comedies and dramas. In all 53 episodes were shown, broadcast on Tuesday nights.

The series is set in the 1970s. In the story, the mayor clashes with the idealist Francisgleydisson, owner of Cine Holliúdy—the only cultural attraction in Pitombas, a fictional town in Ceará.

Cléo is a survivor who struggles against adversities imposed by her social life and does everything to maintain her mother’s happiness. Searching for their freedom, their dilemmas and relationships cross paths throughout the story, making each one of them reinvent themselves and discover their overcoming skills, learning that it is never too late to have control over their own lives.

Soon after learning of the death of his mother Pérola, Mauro returns to his old family home in Bauru (São Paulo, Brazil).
