Takase, a fledgling recording engineer, visits Miyakojima Island in Okinawa for a documentary program. There he meets violinist Yohko and is attracted to her. She participates in the filming as a reporter despite the fact that she has a boyfriend with whom she communicates via e-mail. However, she has an unusual relationship with the artist Kijima. This coming-of-age film delicately depicts the protagonist's personal growth with a documentary touch, incorporating descriptions of the climate of Miyako Island and the actual people who weave the Miyako Kamifu cloth.

Divorce Chaser

Hakamada Yukio is a competent, mysterious lawyer who only handles settlement cases because of past experiences. Although his scathing words get on clients’ nerves, his primary consideration is their welfare. His philosophy that “love is something that can never be bought with money. Based on 16-year-old writer Sarie Hinakura’s award winning story Jellyfish is centered around two adolescent girls disconnected from their immediate environment of school and mates. They first get together while staring into a jellyfish tank at a local aquarium. The relationship that ensues eventually faces tension from the divergent personalities of the two protagonists, one of whom explores a heterosexual relationship with a fellow student. Jealousy and the wrath of a lover spurned are inevitable spillovers.

Pharmacist from Hell

A trio of bad boys comes across some ghosts and monsters. They decide to visit a pharmacist in their town to ask for his advice because he is said to have power to communicate with the spirit world. The mysterious old man says “if you meet ghosts and they attack you, you should show the cards and chant some spell which I will give you...” . Then gives the trio three cards which have odd spells written on them. The boys bravely fight against the monsters following the pharmacist’s instructions, but...! Why do the ghosts and monsters appear only in front of the boys?

Cardboard House Girl

Sakurai Ann, an office worker, has been steadily saving money to move to the U.S. and live freely. When she finally reaches her goal of 5 million yen, her apartment is broken into and all of her money is stolen. She quits her job, cancels her apartment lease, and then discovers that her boyfriend has been with another woman. With no family to rely to, she finds herself living on the brink of homelessness.
