A Woman and Seven Husbands

A widow by the name of Lee Jiu Jin, willingly sold herself to a farway outskirts village without knowing that she is to be shared by 7 men, so as to raise the money for her son's wedding. As these villagers are extremely poor, the men could not afford to keep a wife. This kind of transaction was common in China for women to be sold as brides, but the Government intend to put a stop to such practices by enforcing laws which results in the exile of lawbreakers. Bearing this in mind, Lee and her 7 husbands lived in constant fear of being caught and as for Lee the sufferings and hardships were more than she could bear. As the time passes, Lee grew to understand all 7 men's background, and her hatred for them turn into pity. This relationship at last ended in tragedy.

Hong Kong Graffiti

Yang Hsiu Shan was grown up in Hong Kong and her folks were emigrated to Canada. She felt in love with her boss, Chen Kai Ping, and in order to set up her business. So she decided to stay in Hong Kong. Yang's sister-in-law, Luk Ping Ting, was emigrated from China and was living in her house. Both Yang and her room-mate, Chan Pei Lien, an air hostess, were taken care of her. In the meantime, Chen's daughter, Fong, came from Taiwan to visit him. The popular Pygmalion formula, popularized in the Hollywood musical "My Fair Lady," gets a decidedly Hong Kong cinema twist in this bawdy comedy. Sam, a successful gigolo whose skill with the ladies is only exceeded by his impeccable taste, teaches Chinese mainlander Chung Siu-Hung how to be a call girl.

The series revolves around a fictional Hong Kong senior counsel named Tony Cheung. Senior Counsel Cheung is well known for winning 31 legal cases in a row but is also notorious in legal circles for his unsavoury (but ethical) tactics. His focus on his legal career has also alienated family members and anyone romantically involved. When his colleague gets involved with an unscrupulous businessman, he begins to rediscover the lost idealism and righteousness of his youth.

Shui and Ti elope off, against the wishes of Ti's father. They live the life of a struggling young couple. Shui finds a job at a jewelry importer and his hard work is noticed by the boss lady. When he is falsely accused of the murders of some Vietnamese gangsters, Tang flees to his native Hong Kong, followed closely by his wife and small child, a corrupt CIA agent (as if there were anything else), and the remaining Vietnamese gang members out for revenge. The wife and kid get kidnapped, but Tang and a friend kick everyone's ass, with the wife helping out in rather unexpected ways.
