In a small town plunged into darkness, two children, Kyona and Adriel, are separated from their parents and, facing the path of exile alone, embark on a heroic journey that will take them from childhood to adolescence, in search of refuge, peace and the hope of finding their family.

September 1989 in the GDR. With the change of the general mood in the country, the life of 12-year-old FRITZI changes as well. Her best friend Sophie has fled with her mother through Hungary to West Germany and the only thing Fritzi has left is Sophie's little dog Sputnik. But Fritzi misses Sophie just as much as her little four-legged friend does. Therefore, she decides to bring Sputnik to Sophie. But there is only one way to get there: over the strictly guarded border. A very dangerous adventure for a 12-year-old girl and a small dog...

Without sex, none of us would be here. So why is it so difficult to talk about sex? And what do people with disabilities have to say about it? Based on a two-year collaboration between the director and seven artists from Thikwa Werkstatt, the film “Sexability” attempts to answer these questions, only to raise even more.

A heartwarming animation about the bond between a cat called Fred and a goose named Anabel. After a wonderful summer, a change of the seasons throws the relationship of these farmyard buddies into a spin. Anabel starts to freeze and must move south. But even a long winter can’t extinguish true friendship.

Leipzig in 1989 – Germany divided into East and West. The twelve-year-old friends Fritzi and Sophie don't care much about this - until Sophie has to flee to the West with her mother. There she struggles with prejudices against 'those from over there', but above all with her homesickness. Fritzi's attempt to at least bring Sophie her dog Sputnik fails because of the heavily guarded border. Fritzi realizes that only the fight for freedom in her country can bring the two of them together again.
