The Story of a Noble Family (Chinese: 金粉世家) is a 2003 Chinese television series based on Zhang Henshui's novel Jinfen Shijia, directed by Li Dawei. The series was first broadcast in 2003 on China Central Television in mainland China.

When their mother dies and their father withdraws, the Qiao siblings must rely on each other to survive. Led by their eldest brother, they grow up facing life’s struggles together, forming an unbreakable family bond through perseverance and love.

One is Xu Nuo, a florist who has spent ten years in unsuccessful relationships. The other is Zhao Jin, a veterinarian burdened with family responsibilities. Both of these mature individuals are also being forced to marry by their parents, relatives, friends and matchmakers. They met when their lives seemed to be at a standstill, not knowing how to restart.
