Tu e Eu

The story of Jacinta, one of the three children involved in the Marian apparition reported in 1917 at Cova da Iria, in Fátima, Portugal.

Lucia of Fatima takes us back to the beginning of 20th century, allowing us to trace the whole journey of the girl behind the religious figure. During her childhood, the Fatima prophet was arrested, submitted to cruel interrogations, taken away from her family and denied the right to her own identity. Lucia resisted it all and kept her story alive. She was the guardian of the secret.

The story chronicles the life of Portuguese entrepreneur Rui Nabeiro, founder of Delta Cafés, set against the backdrop of his hometown, Campo Maior.

Lourenço is the son of Francisco Figueiredo, a soccer coach in the beginning of a very promising career. Everything goes well: Francisco's team is in the Portuguese Cup final and Lourenço is going to be class valedictorian in a very prestigious private high school. But everything starts to collapse. Francisco is fired and Lourenço must transfer to a public high school whose students are predominantly from a ghetto near Lisbon. While Lourenço is fighting to fit into a new and harsh reality, he also helps his father find his lost dignity. Hope is a strange place.
