A gay man and a lesbian arrange to have a "fake" marriage to appease their families. Hijinks ensue. The lesbian falls in love with her "husband's" twin sister and things begin to get even more complicated.

Secrets of 1979

In the summer of 1979, during Taiwan’s martial law period, Bing-Kuan asks her college friend Shu-Lan to help out on her family’s banana plantation. As time goes by, the two girls secretly develop a romantic relationship, and decide to volunteer at the Formosa Magazine in order to promote democratic freedom of expression. Yet their youthful romance is threatened as the Kuomintang regime seeks to suppress dissident voices.

Growing up in a large, wealthy family, the three Yuan brothers never wanted for anything. Yuan Jun Cheng, Yuan Jun Dao, and Yuan Jun Ping all have different mothers though and were competitors for the fortune 500 business empire of their father. All started to change when Lin Xun, a poor young man who had previously helped Jun Cheng , was asked to call the father of the three Yuan brothers by his dying mother. Adding to the camaraderie is Jun Dao's room mate Yang Xiang and Jun Ping's best friend Yan Yue.

On death's door and bedridden, Lockwood asks for the same doctor who treated the woman who died 40 years ago. He arrives and treats her. The next morning Lockwood is cured, and it is revealed by the police that the doctor's dead body was found in his carriage hours before the time Mason claims he arrived to see Lockwood. Convinced that not only the ghost of the girl but that of the doctor as well entered his home, Mason finally believes in the supernatural.

But the thing is, is Lu able to find her own self-identity and be the real her in one’s life?
